On Thursday, March 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Nordic Chamber partners FACC, SACC, IACC, NACC and DACC join forces in order to bring together business leaders, professionals and friends of the Nordic community for an informal reception at The Rustic - Uptown.

Please, join us to wish Finland a Happy 104th Birthday and bring your favorite appetizer to share. The 1st 30 people on the list will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly. Other beverages are available for purchase at the cash bar. Children welcome until 8:00 pm.
Due to limitations regarding onsite food preparation, refrigeration and heating, we suggest food items that can be served room temperature or be brought to temperature prior to the event.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic all in-person Events are currently cancelled. We plan to resume our Pea Soup & Pancake Events on the last Thursday of the month when social gathering is safe. The first event for Fall 2020 is scheduled on Thursday September 24, however we will evalute if this event will be replaced by an online event depending on the Covid-19 situation in Houston.
On Wednesday August 19 at 11 am- 12 pm you are invited to join for free a zoom event “ Houston Live, Covid-19 and implications” . The event will be moderated by SACC-TX Houston Board Member and Founder of Valhalla Premium Aquavit, Michael Griffin. Guest speakers Dr. Kristina Hulten, Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine, and Clay Pearson, City Manager of Pearland, TX. Our guest speakers will share how the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact city management and medical research today.
