Dance Salad Festival: Susanna Leinonen Company from Finland

  • Wortham Center, Cullen Theater 501 Texas Avenue Houston, TX, 77002 United States (map)

As part of Finland 100 years celebrations FACC Greater Houston invites you to the Dance Salad Festival at the Wortham Center/Cullen Theater to view the Susanna Leinonen Company from Finland, and to meet the artists after the perfomance for a “meet and greet” event.

The final night of the Festival will be remembered by an innovative twist of Shakespeare’s classic Romeo & Juliet choreographed by Susanna Leinonen and Jouko Valkama, (dancing the role of Romeo himself), set to the original score by Sergei Prokofjev, recomposed with an original contemporary score by Kasperi Laine, performed by the highly acclaimed Susanna Leinonen Company from Helsinki, Finland.

FACC has agreed on a promo code “Finland2017” that will give a 10% reduction on any seat(s) chosen.

In order to profit from the offer; go to dancesalad.org, click “tickets”, enter the promo code, click “buy tickets”, and continue.

During intermission we can grab a drink and meet at the “Alcove” to the left of escalators when going up to foyer.

After the concert we will have a great opportunity to “meet and greet” the artists in the same “Alcove”.
